For heads, business managers & office teams

Booking us

Every school needs the same paperwork before an outsider stands in front of their children. Most providers make you chase it. Here’s ours, up front.

The paperwork, before you ask for it

Nothing here is “available on request”. Requesting things is the slow bit.

🛡️

Enhanced DBS — with the barred list

Both of us hold an enhanced DBS check with the children’s barred list. We’ll send our certificates with your booking confirmation.

From 1 September 2026 the supervision exemption is removed, so a barred-list check is the standard for anyone working with your pupils. We already meet it.

Included with your booking confirmation.

📋

Public liability insurance

Full public liability cover. The certificate comes with your booking confirmation — no need to ask.

⚠️

Written risk assessment

Activity-specific, in writing, sent before we arrive — not a generic template with your school’s name pasted on top. If your trust needs it signed off by SLT in advance, let us know and we’ll get it to you early.

Included with your booking confirmation.

📚

Safeguarding policy

Our own child protection policy, naming Lizzie as our designated safeguarding lead. Lizzie is safeguarding trained, and we’ll agree with you in advance exactly how a disclosure would be handled on the day — before it ever needs to be.

Included with your booking confirmation.

🎓

Qualified teacher status

We’re both qualified teachers. Not activity instructors, not facilitators — teachers, with classroom experience and the behaviour management that comes with it. We’ll send our QTS details with your booking confirmation.

Included with your booking confirmation.

📄

Our actual lesson materials

You can see everything we plan to teach, in advance, and so can your parents. We will never ask you to sign anything that stops you sharing our content with the families in your school.

RSHE statutory guidance is explicit: clauses that stop a school showing materials to parents are void and unenforceable. We think you should be able to see what we teach anyway.

The other direction

And what we need from you

Almost nothing, honestly. That’s rather the point of booking us.

A space

A hall, a field, a playground or a classroom. We work with the space you have and shape the day around it — we’ll review it with you on the planning call so the day suits the room available.

Your groups, not ours

We build the day around the classes you already have. You will never be asked to reorganise a year group to fit our equipment.

A purchase order

We invoice after the visit, quoting your PO number, on your normal terms. We don’t ask schools to pay months upfront.

How staffing works on the day

For a single class, we run the day ourselves — your teachers can watch from the side, join in, or get on with something else. For a bigger group, or where some children need one-to-one support, we’ll agree the right staffing with you on the planning call, so the ratios suit your pupils.

Nothing left to chase

Tell us the year group and roughly when, and we’ll come back with a date and a quote — and we’ll work with you to make the day fit your school.
